Yesterday produced two fine examples of how to bless and encourage those who are grieving:
1) My brother ordered the part and repaired my toilet apparatus. Then he helped me take the remaining Christmas decorations upstairs to the attic. Both things I couldn't do for myself and would have had to hire someone to do. Thanks, brother!
2) Had a meaningful chat with a lady in the nail salon and liked her immediately. I got a gel pedicure and dip manicure. When I went to pay, this kind stranger (maybe new friend?) had paid my bill in full! I wept for the kindness.
Those who grieve need to be seen and know that others care about them. Pay attention. Listen to the Holy Spirit. What chores might your grieving friend need help with? How might you bless someone financially in an encouraging way?
